An Update from ANNIE: Doing Amazing Things!

(Editor’s Note: This is a post from Lilla, who plays Annie in Annie the Musical, now playing on Broadway! She shares insights from her work on the show with Sandy, the adorable dog who is her canine co-star in the show. We’re proud of Lilla on her debut as a blogger. A Broadway star and a blogger – that’s quite a list of extra-curricular activities! Please leave Lilla your best wishes and comments below.)

I have been so lucky to get to do some amazing things. I just got to sing the National Anthem in front of 82,000 people at the Giants game! There were fireworks going off everywhere, and it was such an unbelievable experience. All of the Giants players came over and congratulated me and the entire crowd was cheering and screaming.

Recently, I was able to attend a reception for the NY Foundling which helps foster kids and kids without parents, Just like ANNIE! It was such a great night and I got to meet some of the kids. Then a few of the kids and Charles Strouse, the composer of ANNIE, sang “Tomorrow” with a guitar, and it was really sweet. I couldn’t be prouder to help support such a wonderful organization. I get to do the most amazing things.
