And the Petrodex Superstar Smiles Contest Winner Is…

The winner of the SENTRY Petrodex Superstar Smiles Photo Contest is … Flash of San Diego, California! Flash is a 3-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever with a beautiful smile and lovable personality!

“He is very smart, loving, cuddly and affectionate. A total ‘people person’,” said his proud owner, Amanda. “Flash was born in Queensland, Australia, and has been a part of our lives from day one. He was always keen to learn new tricks to keep up with all the Labradors from Guide Dogs Queensland that were centered just down the street and were always working on their skills in the local area.

“One of the tricks he made his own was a love for closing refrigerator, cupboard and home doors along with his other basic skills. Flash and our 20-month-old son are attached at the hip and are always keeping each other entertained and in trouble. Before moving to San Diego at the end of last year, Flash enjoyed going to the Outback, participating in Animal Charity walks and swimming in the tropical Queensland waters. He still has a fan base of family and friends that send him toys and treats from Australia to this day. He is really loving his new home in California and has already started making new friends down at the local dog parks and around the neighborhood.”

What an amazing dog! Amanda will receive a new Canon Rebel T3 Digital Camera Kit. We would love to see more photos – hint, hint. And we didn’t forget to reward Flash, either! Pet products from Sergeant’s are headed his way.  In April, Amanda and Flash will also be featured in a national radio interview by acclaimed pet journalist Steve Dale on his syndicated radio program.

Congratulations, Flash and Amanda! Thank you to everyone who participated in the photo contest.

“Pet Dental Awareness Month was a blast! Throughout the month of February, we worked with Steve Dale and Dr. Rod Van Horn, a practicing veterinarian and long-time friend of Sergeant’s, to help spread the word about the importance of pet dental care. On the Pet Central Blog and Facebook page, we were able to do just that!
