Sergeant’s Donates Tickets to “ANNIE, the Musical”

Annie2Sergeant’s Pet Care Products has generously donated 42 tickets to ANNIE, the Musical, now playing at Broadway’s legendary Palace Theatre (Broadway and 47th Street), to two non-profit organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and Girls Incorporated of New York City.

Sergeant’s is the official flea and tick fighter for the canine stars of ANNIE, the Musical.

“The tickets are an additional benefit to being a sponsor of the show. We wanted to reach out and share this encouraging story with people in the New York City area, and knew these tickets could be put to good use by these deserving organizations,” said Patsy Sumner, vice president of marketing communications.

The Girls had the opportunity to see the esteemed Broadway musical in June.

“The girls and families thoroughly enjoyed Annie! The girls were thrilled by the opportunity to see a show on Broadway and they loved the show. The girls were impressed by the young performers and were inspired by young people achieving such great goals already!” said Odette Nemes, director of programs for Girls Incorporated of NYC.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC attended the show throughout the month of August.

“The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC is to make sure every young person who wants or needs a mentor can have one, and that is only possible through the support of caring individuals in the communities we serve. Every time we receive donated special opportunities to experience all that this great city has to offer, it helps us make a positive difference in the life of a child. We share their appreciation for the generosity of partners like Sergeant’s,” said Wendy DeMarco, chief marketing officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC.
